WE'VE MOVED!
On Monday March 1st we opened our doors in a new location joining resources with Dr Elaine Chu of East-West Integrative Medicine, a brand new facility in Montrose only 7 miles from our old home on Madison Avenue in Pasadena. The only thing that is changing is our address so you can expect the same style of practice and personal service that you are accustomed to. Rosann Volmert D.O. is a holistic, integrative, board certified family physician who specializes in the use of osteopathic manipulative treatments. These treatments utilize hands on techniques that work with the body’s inherent ability to heal itself, and can be used to improve most health conditions. She has advanced training in the use of osteopathic techniques with infants, children and adults. She also has extensive training in preventative medicine and primary care for acute and chronic illness. In many cases nutritional issues are explored, and alternative remedies are used in place of, or in addition to, prescription medications.

Specially trained to perform Osteopathic Manipulation, a technique in which the physician uses their hands to diagnose and treat patients.

Alternative Holistic Family Medicine
Full scope of family medicine, which encourages the use of alternative approaches such as homeopathic, nutrition, herbals, exercise, lifestyle, osteopathic treatments, physical therapy, yoga, meditation, and others.
Labs, Testing and Counseling
Expanded thyroid testing, adrenal function, cholesterol, C-reactive protein and cardiac risk testing, pap smears, colon and prostate cancer screening, breast cancer screening with referral for mammography / thermography, sexually transmitted disease testing, hearing acuity testing (Audiometry), screening for nutritional deficiencies (Vit D, B-12, folic acid, etc), diabetes screening, etc. Full discussion of treatment plans regarding any abnormalities found on testing.
